Ultimate Mining Tycoon Locations and Shops Guide
Navigate plots, The Mine, Generico, Madattak's Shack, Rolijok's Prestige Store, and Ore Recovery.
Ultimate Mining Tycoon (Innovation Inc., developers madattak and Rolijok, place ID 18680867089, 71M+ visits, live v0.5.13) spreads its economy across a compact hub world: private factory plots, a shared descending mine, equipment shops, and recovery services. New players often spawn beside Generico and never discover Madattak’s Dynamite Shack or Rolijok’s Prestige Store until their first prestige attempt fails. This guide maps every important location so you spend less time wandering and more time processing ore.
Assumes you finished Getting Started. For depth tables and ore values, see Mine Layers and Ores.
World layout at a glance
| Location | Role |
|---|---|
| 8 player plots | Private 30×30 build zones beside the hub |
| The Mine entrance | Shared 8-layer descent; 100-minute collapse timer |
| Generico Mining Gear | Pickaxes, backpacks, early equipment |
| Madattak’s Dynamite Shack | Cash explosives for tunnels and Obsidian |
| Rolijok’s Prestige Store | Medal upgrades and prestige machine unlocks |
| Ore Recovery Centre | Reclaim stranded inventory after disconnects |
| Automatic Ore Recovery | Secondary recovery bays near the hub road |
Ultimate Mining Tycoon has no promo codes as of v0.5.13 — every purchase happens at these in-world shops or the Build Shop on your plot.
Player plots (8 × 30×30)
Each server hosts eight private plots. When you join, the game assigns an empty plot or lets you pick from available slots. Your plot is the only place you place factory machines, unloaders, and vehicles from the Vehicle Spawner.
Plot rules that matter:
- Build mode toggles placement of belts and machines (see Controls for bindings).
- Complexity cap: 4,000 parts per plot — every machine and belt tile counts.
- No cross-plot belts — you cannot pipe ore into a friend’s factory.
- Neighbors share the same hub road but cannot use your Ore Unloader.
Plan layouts with straight spines from day one; space is generous at 30×30 but endgame Power Core chains consume most of the budget. Layout principles: Factory Layout.
The Mine and collapse timer
The Mine is the shared vertical shaft every player descends to gather 20 ores and gems across 8 geological layers. Tunnels you carve are visible to everyone on the server — cooperative blasting opens ramps for Super Crawler hauls, but griefing sealed ramps is poor etiquette (covered in co-op guides).
100-minute collapse
The mine runs on a 100-minute collapse timer displayed on-screen since v0.5.0. When the timer hits zero, the mine regenerates: tunnels reset, depth progress in the shaft wipes, and everyone returns to fresh stone. Your plot factory is unaffected — only the shared mine geometry resets.
Strategy implications:
- Finish deep hauls before collapse if you are mid-run on Underworld ore.
- Park vehicles on your plot, not inside the mine, before a collapse if you want zero risk.
- Coordinate with friends when collapse is under ten minutes — group blasting right before reset wastes dynamite.
Robux collapse extension (+30 minutes for 225 Robux)
Players can purchase a +30 minute collapse extension for 225 Robux when the timer runs low. This is optional pay-to-convenience, not required for progression. F2P players simply plan shorter mining sessions or accept periodic resets. Extensions affect the whole server timer — buying time helps everyone currently mining.

Generico Mining Gear
Generico Mining Gear sits near The Mine entrance — the first shop most players find after the tutorial. Two NPC vendors split inventory:
| Vendor | Sells |
|---|---|
| Happy Pickaxe Man | All 11 pickaxes from Rusty through Unobtainium |
| Backpack Man | Cash-tier backpacks Micro through XL |
Generico is your early-game upgrade hub. Priority purchases mirror Getting Started: Copper Pickaxe ($40), backpack tiers, then Steel/Titanium pickaxes as depth requires.
XXL Robux backpack (399 Robux, 64 slots)
The XXL backpack costs 399 Robux, grants 64 inventory slots, and persists through prestige. Every cash-purchased backpack (Micro through XL) resets on prestige and must be rebought. Robux spenders who mine on foot long-term often buy XXL once; haul-focused players still prioritize Super Crawler capacity instead.
Full pickaxe and backpack tables: Equipment Reference.
Madattak’s Dynamite Shack (how to find)
Explosives are not sold at Generico. Madattak’s Dynamite Shack is on a side road uphill from the plot area, away from the main Generico storefront.
Finding it step by step:
- Spawn at your plot facing the mine hub.
- Locate the global leaderboard area near spawn.
- Follow the uphill road opposite the Generico front entrance.
- Watch for Madattak’s Dynamite Shack signage and crater props in an adjacent field.
- Interact with Madattak to buy dynamite, C4 tiers, and mid-game blasting tools.
If you overshoot, loop back toward plots — the shack is adjacent to the plot ring, not inside The Mine. Map screenshots and Discord tips live on Official Links. Full blasting guide: Explosives and Obsidian.
Rolijok’s Prestige Store (behind Generico)
After earning Medals from Prestige and Medals ($20M+ cash threshold), visit Rolijok’s Prestige Store. The entrance sits behind Generico Mining Gear — walk through or around the main Generico building to reach Rolijok’s counter.
Rolijok sells:
- Permanent stat upgrades — Pickaxe Strength/Speed, Vehicle Power, Walk Speed, Starting Money, etc.
- Access to prestige-exclusive machines in the Build Shop after Medal purchase (Ore Upgrader at 3 Medals, Philosopher’s Stone, transmuters, Duplicator).
First prestige plan: save $80M for 3 Medals, buy Ore Upgrader immediately, then sprinkle Rolijok upgrades. Machine order: Prestige Machines.
Ore Recovery Centre (2,000 ore limit)
Disconnects, factory load glitches, and unloader edge cases can strand minerals outside your normal inventory. The Ore Recovery Centre near spawn lets you reclaim lost ore.
Key facts:
- Storage limit: 2,000 ore total across recovered items.
- Contents in backpacks, vehicles, and unloaders may route here on certain load events (see v0.5.5+ factory save notes on Updates Hub).
- Recovery is per-player — you cannot pull a friend’s ore.
- Visit after reconnecting if a haul vanished; empty the centre before it fills during long sessions.
Automatic Ore Recovery (secondary path, 8 bays)
A second facility — Automatic Ore Recovery — sits along the secondary hub road (the alternate path circling plots opposite the main Generico-facing road). It provides 8 recovery bays that auto-process stranded ore on login for many players.
Use both systems when troubleshooting:
- Check Automatic Ore Recovery bays first after spawn.
- If items remain missing, visit the manual Ore Recovery Centre.
- Clear + rejoin once if factory outputs duplicated (patched in v0.5.12–v0.5.13, but still a community fix step).
Neither recovery building replaces normal unloading — they are safety nets, not primary factory inputs.
Shop visit checklist by progression

| Day 1 | Generico — Copper Pickaxe, backpack, Cargo Quadbike savings |
| Mid depth | Generico — Steel/Titanium pickaxe; Dynamite Shack — C4 for ramps |
| $200K+ | Generico — Large backpack optional; focus Super Crawler at plot |
| $20M+ | Rolijok’s Prestige Store — plan Medal upgrades before reset |
| Post-prestige | Generico rebuild + Rolijok machines from Build Shop |
