Spawn rules
- Ores guarantee spawn at listed depth ranges.
- Small off-depth clusters of any ore can appear rarely.
- Most ores stop spawning past 3,000m.
- Rhodium and Unobtainium extend to 5,000m.
- Ore names display even when pickaxe strength is insufficient (v0.5.0+).
Layer grouping (quick reference)
Surface and Shallow ($10 – $90)
Tin, Copper, Iron, Silver — first-hour mining targets. Process through Furnace → Stamper per Getting Started.
Bedrock ($180 – $270)
Gold, Titanium — require Steel/Titanium pickaxes. Early Game Money phase 3 focus.
Deep Caverns ($500 – $3,500)
Uranium through Diamond Ore — factory needs Alloy Maker and electronics chain. Haul with Super Crawler.
Underworld ($5,000 – $30,000)
Iridium through Unobtainium — endgame income. Diamond Pickaxe ($2.5M) minimum comfortable access; Mithril speeds farming.
Obsidian (special case)
Added v0.5.0. Spawns in large chunks requiring explosives — pickaxes cannot break it. Use Madattak’s Dynamite Shack inventory — Equipment.

Ore Upgrader synergy
Prestige Ore Upgrader (3 Medals) outputs next tier ore from any input. Tin input becomes Copper-tier value without mining Copper depth — reshapes which ores you prioritize. Prestige and Medals.
Inventory and haul limits
Ores occupy backpack and vehicle slots equally. High-value Underworld runs need 180-slot Super Crawler and expanded unloader — Vehicle Logistics.
Ore recovery
Logout saves ore in backpack/vehicle/unloader. Ore Recovery Centre at spawn hub retrieves lost items after disconnects. Prestige should wipe stranded mine inventory — rejoin if persistence bugs occur.

Why cannot I break Obsidian?
Obsidian requires explosives from Madattak's Dynamite Shack. Pickaxes do not work on large obsidian chunks.
Do ores spawn below 3000m?
Rhodium and Unobtainium continue spawning to 5000m. Other ores stop around 3000m.
