Achievements and Badges

Ultimate Mining Tycoon awards Roblox badges (achievements) for lifetime milestones — not for individual factory sessions. Innovation Inc. developers madattak and Rolijok (place ID 18680867089, 71M+ visits, live v0.5.13) track total cash earned and total ores mined across your account even when you Prestige and wipe in-session cash. Patch v0.5.0 (21 March 2026) also added more achievement hooks alongside drill vehicles and the Prestige rebrand.

Badges grant no in-game cash or Medals — they are profile trophies. They still help you gauge long-term progress toward $1B Ultimate Tycoon or 1M ore Ultimate Miner goals while you chase Prestige and Medals on each run.

How badges work in Ultimate Mining Tycoon

Roblox badges attach to your account, not a single server save. Key rules:

  • Lifetime money counts all cash ever earned, including sales before Prestige resets your wallet.
  • Lifetime ores mined counts every ore block broken across every session.
  • Prestige does not reset badge progress — resetting at $80M for 3 Medals still adds that $80M toward money badges.
  • Badges appear on your Roblox profile and in the in-game badge menu when unlocked.
  • There is no code or Robux shortcut for badges — only gameplay milestones.

If a badge fails to pop immediately, rejoin once. Roblox badge delivery occasionally lags on busy servers (71M+ visits means crowded lobbies).

BadgeRequirement
New TycoonJoin Ultimate Mining Tycoon for the first time

Every player earns New Tycoon on first spawn. It confirms you launched the correct game (place ID 18680867089) — not the separate Mining Tycoon franchise that supports promo codes. See Codes Hub if you expected a code box.

Money milestone badges

These track lifetime earnings, not your current HUD balance. Selling processed ore, alloy bars, Power Cores, and gem products all contribute.

BadgeLifetime cash earned
Junior Employee$100
Senior Employee$1,000
Manager$10,000
Boss$100,000
CEO$1,000,000
Tycoon$10,000,000
Ultimate Tycoon$1,000,000,000

Progression tips for money badges

Early badges unlock naturally during Getting Started and Early Game Money. CEO ($1M) usually arrives during mid-game alloy or circuit expansion — see Mid-Game Progression.

Tycoon ($10M) sits just below the $20M Prestige threshold. Many players hit Tycoon on the same run where they plan their first reset. Do not confuse Tycoon badge with prestiging — the badge is cumulative lifetime earnings; Prestige wipes current cash only.

Ultimate Tycoon ($1B lifetime) is a long-term account goal spanning multiple prestige cycles with Ore Upgrader and endgame Power Core lines from Endgame Factory. No single factory layout reaches $1B in one session without extreme optimization and time investment.

Factory value multipliers from Circuit and Electronics and Alloys and Tempering accelerate money badge progress more than raw mining alone.

Ore mined milestone badges

These count every ore block mined, regardless of whether you sold, processed, or dropped the ore.

BadgeLifetime ores mined
Junior Miner10
Miner100
Senior Miner1,000
Expert Miner10,000
Master Miner100,000
Ultimate Miner1,000,000

Faster ore badge progress

Ore badges reward volume, not depth value. Strategies:

  • Walk-mine surface Tin and Copper early for cheap ore counts before vehicles matter.
  • Upgrade pickaxe strength so every swing breaks a block — see Pickaxes Tier List.
  • Use drill vehicles (Mini-Muncher, Power Drill, Exa-Drill) to mine stone while moving — counts toward totals. Stats: Vehicles Reference.
  • Co-op blasting opens wider walls — more breakable blocks per minute. Etiquette: Co-op Multiplayer.

Ultimate Miner (1M ores) is a grind badge independent of cash. Dedicated miners sometimes farm weaker layers intentionally while factory runners focus on value chains.

Takeover event badges (unobtainable)

During Roblox The Takeover Event (12–22 September 2025), Ultimate Mining Tycoon offered four limited badges tied to event challenges. The event ended — these badges are no longer obtainable for new players:

BadgeOriginal challenge (event only)
Takeover NoobMine 100 seconds worth of ores/gems during the event challenge
Takeover ProSell Chalk or chalk products 25 times during the event
Takeover MasterSell 10 Spray Cans from a paint + ore production line
Extreme TakeoverSell 6 Spray Cans of different colors (red/blue/green chalk + paint mixer combos)

Event machines like the Spray Can Machine and Paint Mixer were temporary. Do not chase YouTube guides promising Takeover badge unlocks in 2026 — they reference expired content.

If you earned Takeover badges during September 2025, they remain on your Roblox profile permanently.

Badges vs Prestige vs Robux

SystemResets on Prestige?Grants gameplay power?
Money/Ore badgesNo — lifetime counters persistNo — cosmetic only
MedalsNo — currency keptYes — prestige machines and upgrades
Cash balanceYesYes — buys machines and pickaxes
Robux items (AVU, XXL)Mostly persistConvenience only — see Robux and Game Passes

Badges measure account history. Medals measure meta progression. Optimizing for 3 Medals at $80M helps Tycoon ($10M lifetime) along the way but does not directly unlock badge tiers beyond the cash you already earned.

v0.5.x changes affecting achievements

Patch v0.5.0 explicitly added more achievements alongside drill vehicles and Obsidian. No later v0.5.13 patch removed badge tracking. Factory save fixes (v0.5.5–v0.5.12) do not alter lifetime counters — only session inventory behavior.

Stay current on mechanics that do affect earnings speed: Updates Hub.

For players who want badges and efficient prestige progress:

  1. Sessions 1–3: Unlock money badges through Junior Employee → Boss via tutorial and early factory sales.
  2. Mid-game: Push CEO ($1M) while building alloy and circuit spines — Factory Layout keeps sell throughput high.
  3. Pre-first-prestige run: Hit Tycoon ($10M lifetime) while saving toward $80M current cash for 3 Medals.
  4. Parallel ore grind: During vehicle downtime, mine extra surface ore for Senior Miner → Expert Miner without ignoring factory upgrades.
  5. Post-prestige: Ore Upgrader accelerates money badges on subsequent runs; drill vehicles accelerate ore badges.

Use the Prestige Calculator before each reset so badge chasing does not accidentally trigger a 1-Medal prestige at exactly $20M.

Badges mark the journey — Ultimate Tycoon and Ultimate Miner are marathon goals that survive every Prestige reset you take along the way.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Do badges reset when I prestige?

No. Lifetime money and lifetime ores mined persist across every Prestige reset. Only your current cash and standard equipment reset.

What is the hardest badge to earn?

Ultimate Tycoon ($1B lifetime earnings) and Ultimate Miner (1 million ores mined) are the longest grinds — expect many prestige cycles.

Can I still get Takeover event badges?

No. The Takeover Event ended 22 September 2025. Those four badges are unobtainable for new players.

Do badges give Medals or cash rewards?

No. Badges are Roblox profile trophies only. Medals come exclusively from prestiging at $20M+ cash thresholds.

Why did I not receive a badge immediately?

Roblox badge delivery can lag on busy servers. Rejoin once. Confirm the milestone on your lifetime stats, not current HUD cash.

Does mining gems count toward ore badges?

Ore mined badges track ore blocks broken. Gem mining may count separately depending on game classification — focus on ore layers for reliable progress.
